2022 Summer Schedule! This season’s schedule will feature over 20 event
days, including for the first time, a Beginners Tour featuring evening events

Awards and Recognition
Since 1984, Golf Digest has honored those who make outstanding contributions to junior golf with annual junior-development awards. Categories include an
association, corporation, course, individual and municipality. In 2001, the
Dakota Junior Golf Association (DJGA) was honored with this prestigous award by Golf Digest.
DJGA To Sponsor Annual High School Golfer of Year Awards
The Dakota Junior Golf Association (DJGA) is excited to announce the “DJGA Golfer of the Year Award” for both High School Senior Boys and Girls. The award also known as
Mr Golf and Ms Golf in many states, will rival other High School Sports Awards in North Dakota that are given to the top senior regardless of Class A or B.
The Annual Award will be given this Spring to both the top Male and Female High School Golfer for the 2021-22 School Year. Beginning next fall the girls award will be
given at the end of the fall season and boys at the end of the spring seasons.
The Golfer of the Year award will be voted on by a committee from across the state. More Details about the award will become available this spring online at DJGA.org.
The DJGA was founded in 1988, presently the association provides over 20 summer events for golfers, as well as lessons to over 1000 junior players each year. Currently
the DJGA is working on aggressive plans for statewide expansion of its Junior Tour for the 2023 Season, in an effort to provide all players in the upper midwest quality events
and competitions.
Criteria:
Awarded to Top Male and Female Senior Golfer
Must be nominated by a High School Coach
Playing Career Resume both High School and all amateur events.
Personal resume, include other school activities, community service and other accomplishments.
In order to be considered for this award player may not have committed any school violations that resulted in suspension from any school activity while in grades 9-12.

Week of February 21 Award Announced to all Media and Schools
April 15 - May 20 Nominations Accepted at DJGA.org
June 8 Winners Announced of both girls and boys award for 2021-22 School Year.
